What is oolong tea?
Contrary to the green tea which is not oxidized and the black tea which is fully oxidized, oolong is partially oxidized. Oolong is mainly produced in China and Taiwan. Almost all of the tea production of Taiwan is that of oolong tea.
Many health benefits are attributed to this type of tea including its help with weight loss.
How to infuse the Imperial Earl Grey Oolong Tea?
You can check this blog post for the classic Chinese way of infusing oolong tea. In a nutshell, it can be infused multiple times and each subsequent infusion liberates different aromas and tastes.
The first infusion has a mellow honey-like colour and light citrus and floral notes.
The second infusion is all about citrus. The lemony notes of the Pouchong oolong's second infusion match the bitter-sweet taste of the orange zests.
This oolong suits itself perfectly for a cold brew (you should cover the leaves with water at ambient temperature and leave for about half an hour). It gives a wonderful light green color with shades of gold. The taste is dominated by the refreshing citrus notes.

Does oolong tea help with weight loss?
I am so impressed with this Imperial Earl Grey Oolong Loose Leaf Tea. I'm Irish and have grown up here in Ireland. Irish people usually like breakfast tea and also to make it quite strong. Three years ago I had guests from Hong Kong and Taiwan stay for a few days. One of the guests showed me how to make loose tea like in China. And obviously with a good quality Oolong tea. Since then I am in love with the Oolong tea. The tea that I bought from Teapster only a few weeks ago is amazing. My package included a beautiful handwritten set of instructions of how to make the tea. I was very impressed with this as to receive a wee personal note with the package was very nice indeed. This Imperial Earl Grey Oolong Loose Leaf Tea has great health benefits. It really does give one a wee boost of energy as on the website it stated that this tea is good for fatigue. This is one of the reasons that I bought it. Apart from the health benefits the taste is seriously good, and you can make four infusions with each portion. I will most certainly be buying and trying other styles of tea :)
